All Stars WW

Last night occured a room between all members of All Stars. Sorry to the people that wanted to join us... Our main goal was basically to gather 12 All Stars members in the same Worldwide room, which didn't happen. We got up to 11 All Stars members in the same room because a random player joined our room and stayed for its entire duration (He was called Fubar U, you'll see on the pictures). However, very fun room and very fun call (even though it was quite messy with everyone screaming at the same time). Here are a few pictures:

The room at its pinnacle

GG's everyone!

TTing, recent changes, ...

Lots, lots of changes happened recently... Let's start off.
I have created a new page on my blog that you can find on the bar at the top, it is called "Videos", but here's the link for it: http://linking111.blogspot.com/p/videos.html
The page's principle is simple: it's a page with links to all my Time Trialing videos, from the oldest (weakest, obviously) to the newest Time Trialing times. I even caught myself being surprised watching some very old videos (especially Rainbow Road videos, it's really weird so see how bad I was 2 years back). I'll update everytime I upload a video, this goes without saying. I hope you enjoy!

Talking about videos. I have been Time Trialing quite actively the past few days, especially in Shroomless (No item) Time Trial. Regular 3lap Time Trial kind of bores me, to be honest. I prefer doing shroomless to improve my lines which will serve online especially. I already know how to use a shroom.
Anyway, I have improved two of the times I wanted to improve the most:
- Moo Moo Meadows, with a time of 01:20.461
- Mushroom Gorge, with a time of 01:51.746
I have mixed feelings regarding those times. Both times are .200 and less off WR (Best Known Time would be more accurate since this isn't really a WR).

Happy and disappointed with this time. I'm really happy I improved my old time of 1:52.002, and got the sub. I also didn't think I would improve it this much (I would have been happy with 1:51.900, in fact). I guess improving my cave MT's so much saved me quite some time (If you have seen my previous time ghost video, I missed all 3 cave MT's, which made me lose time considerably). The fact that I improved my time so easily and got such a good time makes me want to improve even more. I will aim for WR/BKT, this is for sure. Just a note: my time is the best known recorded time, meaning there are supposedly better times than mine, but there is no proof of those better times. I'd like to see a picture/video of their times.

Secondly and lastly, my Moo Moo Meadows time. I was happy at first, since I got to improve my old time by over .300. After my video was recorded, though, I realized that my lines needed a lot of improvement. My lines were overall really wide, also some high jumps and slow MT's. Completely improveable, will aim for an improvement when I'm bored, I suppose. Video was recorded and uploaded, but was left on unlisted. I'll turn the video publicly in a few days, most likely (and update this post with the video).

Most of you may have noticed or not: I have stopped activity related with StarStruck and decided, after quite a lot of thinking over, to rejoin All Stars. I wish that everyone could respect this decision even if they are disappointed by it or it seems "weird", thanks. I also apologize again to some people I have greatly disappointed. I will probably go inactive in July and August (probably even earlier, now that I think of it) because of traveling, studies of course, and so on. Not like it makes me happy or something.

I think that is all, thank you very much for reading this post if you have. Oh yeah, I forgot: I started posting results of clan-wars I took part of, and will most likely post a lot more. I have planned on creating a new page that you will find at the top bar of this blog (like "Videos"). It will be called "Clan-wars", or just "Wars", I'm not sure of that yet.
I'd lastly like to thank my great friend NMeade for his generosity. He accepted to record both of my newest Personal Records and took on his time to do it yesterday, I couldn't thank him enough for this.

(Very) old Worldwides

Today, I was browsing through my camera's internal memory photos (when you don't plug in the SD card, the internal memory will be used) and found some photos of very old worldwides (from over 1 year ago). I had no way to transfer the photos to my computer (you need a USB cable), therefore I had to take pictures of my camera's screen with my DSi, which explains the very shitty picture quality.
Anyway, those worldwides are kind of unforgettable since it's when I started playing MKWii again, and were also really fun while those ww's were also very competitive. If I recall correctly, in some of the following pictures: CherryBoyK = G3, TS RUBE = NOBUO, etc.

=★ vs. AE7

Today took place the MKC Week 4 match between StarStruck 2 and Alternative Elite Team. As I recall, there were a lot of reschedules for this war (as well as the G37 war, which will happen tomorrow evening most likely).
War was running smoothly overall, even though I had my rape moments (so did everyone else anyway). I also blued Jack on rDKJP (wanted to blue him in the cannon, but failed in an epic fashion), so I can't really say my team-work was perfect today. No major bagging occured this war (except Mani who stopped on some tracks, but whatever), and made this war pretty enjoyable.

TT again...

I was really uninterested by Time Trial the last few weeks/months: the continental tops I'm in (DDR and RR) literally became infested with players using new strategies (no offense to them, mastering new strategies still takes skill and this is how you improve). Since I have some time, I decided I'd try to master new strategies: I took the easier, Dry Dry Ruins, as I really didn't feel like karting on this piece of crap.
The first few days of TTing DDR were quite frustrating, I could barely finish a single lap, and I could even less make the shortcut properly. I don't think I've done it once during those days. However, I never gave up and still tried to play DDR. I also became fairly good at the wheelie wall glitch, I can now pull it 100% of the time. In the last few days, I started to pull decent 1st laps: 36.932, 36.903, 36.845 (!!) were the best laps I've had.
I somewhat became more consistent in the longrun and I could finally improve my last Personal Record of 1:50.208 to the time of 1:49.812. A very good cut if you ask me, however, the number of mistakes in this run was absolutely unbelievable: I didn't trick on wall glitch lap2, bad landing in the exit tomb lap2, very bad lines in the begining, and also tricked only once on pillars on lap3. Splits for both runs were:

37.074
35.103
37.635
1:49.812

37.172
34.788
38.248
1:50.208

I guess you can notice the difference between those runs by yourself. The lap 3 in my current PR was really good and I am surprised I could pull something this good (although I tricked on only one pillar). The picture I took:

Thank you for reading this post yet again, and I'll leave you fellow visitors with this quote:

[22:46:58] Royal: According to National Geographic, average length of an African elephant penis is about 2 meters and most of it is not visible. It weighs about 25 kg or 55 lbs. The record is 6 and a half feet long!
